Lives and tournaments
Every live is a stadium, and the host runs it.
A live on TapIn is a stage with an audience. TapIn Pokémon adds a Pokémon panel beside the stage, so viewers battle without losing sight of the video. On a phone it is a sheet that slides up from the bottom.
Wild encounters still happen during a live. They open in the panel instead of full screen.
The host's console
The host of the live (or the community owner) sees extra controls in the panel:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Open a tournament | Starts registration. Viewers see an Enter button. |
| Start | Closes registration and draws the bracket. |
| Cancel | Stops the tournament at any point. |
| Choose final team | Picks the host's three Pokémon for the final. |
| Invite to stage / Decline | Answers the champion's stage request after the final. |
| Legendary event | Sends a legendary Pokémon to every viewer. See Legendary events. |

Normal stage invites keep working as always; the tournament only adds one more way onto the stage.
