World events
The things that happen around you while you use TapIn.
TapIn Pokémon keeps the app alive between battles:
| Event | How often | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Your partner follows you | always | nothing, it just keeps you company |
| Wild runners | every 1 to 3 minutes | watch them go by |
| Legendary flyovers | every 15 to 40 minutes | click the legendary to battle it |
| Team Rocket | every 20 to 45 minutes | click the balloon before they get away with your balls |
| Weather and time of day | always | enjoy the view |
All of them pause when the tab is hidden and stay away during battles. None of them ever blocks a click. The Animations switch in your settings turns them off, and they follow your system's reduced motion setting.
