Trades
Offer a Pokémon, ask for one back, and evolve on arrival.
Making an offer
Press Trade on a trainer's profile. Choose one of your Pokémon to offer and, if you like, one of theirs to ask for. If you ask for nothing, they can pick something to send back or accept your Pokémon as a gift.

The offer waits under Trades in the trainer menu until the other trainer answers. Offers stay open across sessions; nobody needs to be online at the same moment.
| Action | Who | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Accept | the receiver | the Pokémon swap owners at once |
| Decline | the receiver | the offer closes, nothing moves |
| Cancel | the sender | the offer closes, nothing moves |
You cannot trade away your last Pokémon, trade with yourself, or accept a trade in the middle of a battle.
After the trade
- The traded Pokémon keep their level, moves, held item, friendship and original trainer.
- Each completed trade is worth 20 points to both trainers.
- Trade evolutions happen on arrival: Kadabra, Machoke, Graveler and Haunter, and with the right held item Poliwhirl, Slowpoke, Onix, Scyther, Seadra and Porygon. See Evolution.
