Legendary flyovers
Legendary Pokémon cross your screen. Click one to battle it.
Every 15 to 40 minutes, while TapIn is open and visible, a legendary Pokémon crosses your screen:

It is on screen for 6 to 9 seconds. Click it before it leaves and a battle starts against it at level 50. It can be caught like any wild Pokémon, and running away costs nothing.
Only legendaries you have not caught yet come by. Once you catch one, it never flies over you again; catch all eight and the sky goes quiet.
Flyovers never interrupt a battle or a tournament, and you can switch them off with the Animations setting.
Tips: keep a healthy party, a few Ultra Balls and a Pokémon with a sleep move. All eight have a catch rate of 3, the lowest in the game, so expect to throw a lot of balls; see the catch formula.
