Team Rocket

Every 20 to 45 minutes Team Rocket's Meowth balloon drifts across your screen with a speech bubble: "Prepare for trouble!". They have their eye on part of your bag, called the stake:

• 1 to 3 Poké Balls,
• or, if you have no Poké Balls, your cheapest ball,
• or, if you have no balls at all, 10% of your money.

Click the balloon before it leaves to battle Jessie and James. Their team is drawn from Ekans, Arbok, Koffing, Weezing and Meowth, at levels around your party's average.

• Win and you keep the stake and earn prize money. "Team Rocket's blasting off again!"
• Lose, or let the balloon float away, and they take the stake. A toast tells you what is gone.

Team Rocket never shows up during a battle or while you are in a running tournament.
